Reprapdiscount XXL LCD is not comparable with the new R1??

    I got my printer a week ago and got my Reprapdiscount XXL LCD. I have printed the enclosure and then flipped my R1 on it's side. To my surprise part of the connection that the XXL LCD uses, is already in use. So there is no way to plug in the LCD. Anybody have a work around?

    Find out where those wires lead. If they go to the new card reader and you aren't going to use it, you can disconnect it and plug in the XXL. If they go elsewhere, find out where and let us know.

    The connection is being used for the new SD card. Just unplug the SD card that is plugged in there and plug in the XXL LCD. You don't need two SD card readers :) I'll add that information to my site.
