    That idea is old. MIT was demonstrating a similar technique last year.

    However, it probably has the same toxic problem as current photosensitive resins. If they could just fix the toxic issue.......

    They are making progress (see my response in other resin thread) but there is a given set of chemistry at present that they have to use. I am hoping like yourself that they get it better -- I imagine they will.

    You are correct. They have been making progress. MIT method takes about 1 minute ( or more? ). The newest version takes less than a minute. It will be interesting to see what sort of resin chemistry gets developed since they have a goal of 3D printing tissues and dental stuff.
