Retraction

    Theres probably already a thread for this but i couldnt find one so im making one :p

    i was just wondering what are the best setting for retraction with the robo3d r1 +plus im having trouble figuring what i need to do to get the best results, thanks in advance

    Man, that is really open ended. :)

    The retraction settings that work best for me vary for every type (and sometimes every spool) of filament.

    You just need to experiment. Runs some small test prints and play with it.

    A general rule is that some types of filament need less retraction (or NONE at all) and other types need more.

    Yeah I know how it is wanting to ask someone about this matter. In the end you for sure need to try to experiment. Choose a small calibration model from thingiverse to same filament & time. But then again, you will need time to work it out.

    For me, half a day is normal when it comes to doing some test/calibration. Good luck.
