So tonight the extruder head managed to hit the bed and make a loud pop. Upon further investigation I found that the left nut that travels up and down under the leveling switch had come loose and the left leveling switch wasnt exactly flush.

To fix I ended up having to take the printer apart and work the leveling nut back up till it reached the carriage and reattach the level switch into its proper position. Once done the printer would auto level correctly and proper distance between the extruder head and the bed was achieved allowing the filament to lay correctly.

Edited since I fixed the problem myself (for mods)
