Sep 14, 2018 3:35 PM - Geof: Congrats ! Sounds cool!
Sep 16, 2018 at 5:19 PM - jim3Dbot: Wow exciting Daniel, sounds like an interesting manufacturing engineer position for a talented guy........good luck
Sep 18, 2018 3:26 PM - Bradf80: Anyone ever have one Z stepper getting out of synch with the other? I keep having to re-align them on one of my machines.
Sep 19, 2018 6:31 AM - mark tomlinson: R1/R1+/R2/C2? which?
Sep 19, 2018 7:49 AM - WheresWaldo: Maybe R1Beta/R1/R1PLUS since that has two motors and casn be misaligned
Sep 19, 2018 7:49 AM - WheresWaldo: Any way it is, open a thread.
Sep 19, 2018 7:50 AM - WheresWaldo: In the proper sub forum
Sep 19, 2018 7:08 PM - Bradf80: It was the R1+, replaced the stepper driver for the right side. Appears the problem is solved.

Sep 24, 2018 6:33 AM - daniel871: Anybody else see Barnacules's video where he partially melts an R1 with a flamethrower?
Sep 24, 2018 6:41 AM - daniel871: https://twitter.com/Barnacules/status/1041113076987092993
Sep 24, 2018 7:06 AM - Geof: yea hes got a hard on about it across facebook groups, twitter etc.
Sep 24, 2018 7:07 AM - Geof: border line spam (and i think temporary blocked as spam) from the facebook group
Sep 24, 2018 7:17 AM - daniel871: Kind of lame that a "flamethrower" can't get hot enough to melt the plastic the R1 is made of pretty much immediately.
Sep 24, 2018 7:19 AM - daniel871: I mean, I used a soldering iron to cut holes in my original R1 to add additional cooling fans to help with the overheating electronics and it "cut" the plastic a whole lot faster than that open flame did any damage to the printer.
Sep 24, 2018 8:40 AM - Geof: those "not a flame throwers" were cheesy at best (and everyone knew it lol)
Sep 24, 2018 11:49 AM - KRGraphicsCG: Hey guys
Sep 24, 2018 12:11 PM - KRGraphicsCG: Is anyone here using Cure 3.4.1... I am trying to match some profiles and not getting anything
Sep 24, 2018 1:45 PM - mark tomlinson: So you get a reply No, I am not. I played with it a bit when they released 3.x (mostly on the dual extrusion machine)
Sep 24, 2018 1:45 PM - mark tomlinson: Not a fan of having to edit the JSOn files for some of the configuration I had to do
Sep 26, 2018 10:36 PM - KRGraphicsCG: I'm finally making the move to Simplify 3D
Sep 27, 2018 5:44 AM - Geof: I've never regretted it, just do your homework and make sure its what you want
Sep 27, 2018 7:30 AM - mark tomlinson: Ditto
Sep 28, 2018 4:43 AM - JeffTheMess: this place still alive?
Sep 28, 2018 4:48 AM - JeffTheMess: does anyone one what heating pad I can get for the R1?
Sep 28, 2018 8:37 AM - mark tomlinson: One you linked in forum post is fine. Just might be a little too much wattage for stock power supply. Easy to upgrade that too (I posted links)
Oct 16, 2018 3:50 AM - daniel871: For anybody in the Tennessee area, saw this on FB Marketplace. A mystery 3d printer: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/241759239879145/?ref=product_details
Oct 16, 2018 9:58 AM - Geof: Daniel I'm purgin stuff. can send ya a mystery box lol nice price
Oct 21, 2018 11:33 PM - BryZad: Damn everyone is still kicking here

Oct 24, 2018 at 3:37 AM - daniel871: Geof if you haven't unloaded the mystery box yet, drop me an email at my username at Gmail.com for how much you want for the mystery box.
Oct 25, 2018 5:26 AM - Geof: Hey daniel I'll PM you
Nov 4, 2018 10:04 PM - Terry Balthazor: I'm using a Robo R2 printer, the printer I had before used stl files - when I import them in to Cura they change over to gcode - my first print did not work - I get a message - "Make sure the g-code is suitable for your printer and printer configuration before sending the file to it."
Nov 5, 2018 5:20 AM - Geof: Hi Terry, Fire up a trouble shooting thread with as much information as possible and we will be happy to help.
Nov 5, 2018 8:59 AM - Justus Cook: I just replaced my arduino on a r1+, uploaded firmware, and when I home Z axis, the Z motors keep turning after the hotend touches the build plate
Nov 5, 2018 9:00 AM - Justus Cook: the Z endstop connector came undone while I was reinstalling under the printer, plug it back up, pretty sure its connected correctly, any threads that might help before i opst about it?
Nov 5, 2018 10:46 AM - Justus Cook: Well one of the pins to the ramps was badly bend, shouldnt haveforced it
Nov 6, 2018 at 5:21 AM - Geof: hey Justus, always easier to start a thread, not everyone keeps an eye on the shoutbox. If the pin isnt broken on the ramps you can bend it back (gently). Or just replace the ramps. If your real handy with a soldering iron and some tools you can replace the pin but IMO its not really worth it
Nov 6, 2018 at 1:11 PM - mark tomlinson: No, given that a generic RAMPS 1.4 is $15 it is not worth a lot of effort to replace a pin. Even the work to replace the slightly customized one Robo uses with a generic is easy.
Nov 13, 2018 3:05 PM - Pops668: Trying to reply to a thread, getting flagged as spam. I didn't know I was potted meat product.
Nov 13, 2018 3:16 PM - mark tomlinson: Just not enough posts
Nov 13, 2018 3:16 PM - mark tomlinson: Shoot me a PM with the link and I will add it to your last post that referenced it
