When you have moving platform you have problems with:
Sticking/Warping etc all related to platform being moved.
Move too fast and model might tilt and fall over if heavy enough.

When you have static platform you can achieve faster building speed by up to 400%.
Perhaps motors and belts would need an upgrade for that.
Most important: Platform will have solid base and not break as much (if ever)
This will also enable self leveling mod as a separate button which could be attached to the nozzle. Nozzle would lower down and button attached to the nozzle would touch the platform in 4 places and mark each button press it as height point.
From there, suggested adjustments knobs rotation (which way also) would be displayed, after which another test should be ran to check the adjustment and display any change if needed.

I am not sure how accurate can you go with this, i suspect it would be only as accurate as the button that presses against build platform.

    Delta printers have this covered.
