Super cheap dual extruder

Hello fellow Robo users. Any thoughts on this super cheap chimera clone? I figure it's likely not worth all the hassle but who knows. I would need a few basic things answered keeping in mind I have an R1 Auto level.

1. Would I be able to use the carriages Mike Kelly designed that work with the real thing by 3QD

2. What other parts would I need? Would this require a firmware flash?

3. Are there any decent videos for a budget dual extrusion setup like this?

I just cannot convince the wife of spending near 200 for a dual extruder. Im currently using the hexagon modified with a 40mm fan. This is working well so far but printing in two colors would be a super fun project.
