    Anyone into Magic?

Custom thumb tips. I plan on making my own version in Sculptris later, but for now here is one I found on Thingiverse. White PLA @ 190, bed 55, took 2+hours to print. It was subdivided 4 times in Cinema 4D v8.2

So Matter Control has been very good to me but today, it's printing in the air again. Hmmm

So I switched to Cura and wow, it prints with
    Very good quality.

I found that my Matter Control prints were pitting.

I switched to Cura, and Wow, go some smooth looking print!

My new printing software is now Cura!

I had supports printing and took them off using a Dremel and cutting wheel. Here's the result:

Getting really nice quality prints using Cura. I usually print a brim, but now I am using a raft. It comes off pretty good. But you need a sharp blade to remove properly.

Here is a ring I tried. Fits the pinky.

And for all this into gambling

    And for those into UFOs

    All done with PLA

My latest print using a bed that isn't heating anymore.

    [IMG][IMG][IMG]

Used a lot if hairspray to keep the print on the bed. Without a heated bed, there is major warping of the bottom of a print.

Used 2 different filaments. The water is clear Filament. Painted using primer, acrylic and clear.

For all those that are having issues, just to show you what I accomplished with a heated bed that no longer heat, thus I printed with a no heated bed option, using an old version of Repetier Host, PLA @ 190, the thermostat has turned off on me in the past. Flaky at best. I am fixing it by making sure that the thermistor doesn't move in the extruder head.
