I was sorely disappointed in MatterControls version for "Linux". Gosh, here I was naively assuming that "Linux" meant just that. Not a version for Debian based system.

Since I tend to run other versions, you know, the kind the use RPM packages and other standards, that appears to make MC a no go for me.

Cura-lulzbox comes "packaged" for the OS I just installed, so I may give it a go, despite the only things I've found so far, 4 years old, seem to be down on it.

    Any suggestions?

Heh, I have Debian clones on all the embedded stuff and Ubuntu on the PC as Linux on Windows that Windows 10 offers. You really can run them side-by (pop open a linux shell and go to town -- it even reads/writes linux file systems)
