Best colours for showing off prints in pics. I thought I wanted to stay away from black but now its so hard to pick up detail of my models in pics.

Robo3d's pink prints easily, stable, works well with supports and photographs easily showing complex features. Bought it as a joke for someone who wanted a bunch of prints, turned out it worked out great for validating conceptual mechanism and design.

Complete opposite of my experience with robos black. Pain with supports and first layers not bonding well. Pain to photograph too

3D Solutech - TrueColor Series 1.75mm Silver Metal PLA
$26 for 2.2lbs, like the sheen on this stuff. really shins at .15 layers, haven't tried at .1 yet.

Neutral ABS... just looks clinical/professional. Otherwise, for modeling, laywood is fun. Black glossy PLA shows off layers and has a nice feel. Made one of these, feels like a real bird, albeit harder.
