When printer slides accorss, it grinds against these layers.
Should i move my nozzle higher ?
Is it not moving fast enough ?

This is a 1st layer of RAFT

I'm not shure if I see it right, but it seems to me that there is too much filament extrudet (so it gets pushed upwards on the sides of one line).
Maybe you can solve it if you change the extrusion rate a little bit.

Yep. Dialed flow down to 90%

I print 10mm overlap raft on top of regular painters masking tape from 3M coated with ABS juice.
    Sticks very hard.
Perhaps too hard :) but at least it wont curl up on edges.
Making me think: If it curls up on edges, should i only reinforce edges and have blue tape at the center for easier removal ?
    Interesting !!!!!!!!

is there a reason you're using straight lines instead of rectilinear?

i use CURA to generate G-code. Thats how it generates Raft.
Works fine for me, much better then repetier. More predictable :) and worked since 1st attempt.
