Will Robo3d be supported in win8.1?

Windows8.1 will support 3d printing, was wondering if it will support robo3d or if you plan to release drivers or what ever is needed?

 

If windows 8, includes drivers for arduino then it should work. The only thing that is really needed for the robo to work are the drivers for the arduino. The rest is configurable in software.

windows 8 requires signed drivers, so whether or not arduino drivers will work will depend if arduino will ever have signed drivers.

 

We are makers and modders, tinkerers and hackers. If it doesn't work we'll find a way.
