Normally I can figure this stuff out. My printer connects fine on my macbook pro. I updated the firmware with arduino on it.

I have been trying to get it to work on my windows 7 machine but cant. I downloaded the latest drivers and followed this http://help.robo3dprinter.com/Guide/How+to+Connect+to+your+printer+on+windows/4

I got the drivers to install finally in the device manager.

But when I try to connect in simplify3d or in arudino ( yes im on the right comm port )

I get response text back from the printer but its all jibberish characters and then a fail. I'll post a screenshot later. the response text jibberish happens in the arduino USB status or what ever it is called it also happpens in simplify3d's connect window.

Tried searching and googling and haven't found an answer yet.

Edit: hmm baud rate issue maybe?

What do you have the baud rate set to for that port? On mine you can see it is COM4/250000

If that doesn't fix it then ... USB port issue on that machine. Try a powered hub.
