Solved x-axis motor skipping

    okay I have had my printer since christmas and it has printed fine since. i was printing the other day and i noticed a loud noise (like what happens when you try to move one of the axis too far), but instead of the x-axis being all the way to the side it was in the middle of the print bed where it was printing my object. I looked at it and noticed quickly that it was the motor that was skipping and not the belt that was skipping and I had not been paying attention the the print but as you can tell by the picture below it looks nothing like what its supposed too. any help would be much appreciated.

    solved ! it was not the motor it was actually the bearings in the extruder carriage.

    Nice catch. Those are probably LM88 or close (just looking at it).
    Not sure how easy those are going to be to replace.
