How are you printing (from a PC or from an SD card)?
Does it recover at some point or continues doing this?

Printing from computer, it doesn’t recover just stays like this and makes a mess of the print that’s already on the bed

Try printing from the SD card and see if it continues, you can still launch the print and monitor it from the PC but that eliminates USB communications problems.

I tried to print the off the sd card using the same firmware, same issue no indications to state a fault.
the printer was working great until yesterday when i changed firmware to switch over to the titan extruders.

Well there is a rather important chunk of data you should have started with.
Not sure that I have any advice to offer since I don't use that extruder and can't really address issues with that.
Rolling back to the original / stock firmware would be a test to see if it changes back to the original behavior or not.
    Eliminate that as a contender.
