The Y axis on my machine moves over each layer causing a slope in the edge of the print. I had other issues with this printer and changed the adueno board to the new Alex version, new compete hot end, tried new filaments, new Smart xxl controller, added aux cooling fan to drivers board, , new power supply, updated matter control software. Now the Y axis issue. Any ideas???

    Loose drive components.
Loose belt, loose sprocket, loose pulley, loose drive cog.

    The usual suspects.
Since it is Y only, look at all of these under the bed on the Y drive.

P.S. very unlikely, but possible a stepper motor drive board could need adjustment, but I would go thrugh the obvious ones first.

Thanks for the quick response all componenets are tight. Driver moter output 3.5 vlts correct. It is a new board installed by Robo tech but ill check voltage anyway.

I had two prints that were 6 hrs and they came out perfect. Them this issue. I printed a 25 mm calibration cube after the last failed print and the cube was perfect. I though corrupt g code from Cura so I printed on my other Robo and it printed fine. I am currently printing another thingiverse file and it looks good so far.

Ok ended up being a loose drive pulley. Since it was just a little loose. The momentum produced by small prints has almoat unnoticable movement in layers. Large prints moved 1/2" from start to finish. Tightened set screw 1/4turn and printing a large print. fingers crossed.

Excellent and a good analysis. :)
I ended up using loctite on every set screw. Every. stinkin' one.
