Had a print fail with, to me, odd problems. Seems it started off fine and I left it. Came back a while later and it was "growing hair". I cancelled the print and found a blob of filament on the nozzle. The part is a machinist "V - Block".

Except for the blob, it looks like under extrusion/too cold And the stringing, which implies too hot or poor retraction.

    Pictures below

I'd go with too hot I see a lot of 'messy' there and that is usally too hot. Layer separation can be too hot or (with ABS) just bad heat management (cold air hitting hot ABS)

Lower filament temperature seemed to do the trick. Solve back in April or May. Better late than never?
