Any recommendations on which LCD controllers and where to buy?? Is Robo offering them as a separate add on?

well there are really 2 that I stick with. The XXL controller (I bought mine with an E3DV6 hotend upgrade from Matt @Printed Solid ) www.printedsolid.com then there is the full graphics (amazon). I perfer the xxl for people that dont want to mess with firmware yet. its plug and play. I dont actually buy any spare parts or accessories from Robo :D

The XXL one looks great thanks for the recommendation, I like the plug and play option too without having to get deep in Firmware, didnt you have to change any firmware with the E3DV6 install??

Yes for a firmware change for the E3D. No for the XXL.

I like the XXL, other than its more expensive.

But works great, and lots of cases for it on thingiverse, the one I used I need to use the printed feet to raise the printer or the case hits the table.

The XXL and the E3D V6 are honestly the best upgrades you can do for your printer! The E3D firmware mod is super easy to perform there's a great guide on it which makes its a great way to get your feet wet with custom firmware. Once you have the LCD installed its so freeing, youll never go back hahaha
