Solved Another Jam / Clog new R1 plus

    I'm at my wits end here in pic I have same issue l, filament stuck in hotend and will not come out this seems to be jammed clogged whatever temp is at 230 to try and melt but still nothing I'm wondering if I just have to replace whole unit IMG_1719.JPG

    If you can't pull it out when hot and laying on the bed, then you may need to remove the nozzle and approach it from the other end.

    Since you have disassembled it, that part it totally oven safe :)

    I even bought a small convection over (for like $30) that would work for that. It is also good for drying wet filament if I need or want to.

    I got it cleared I boiled it in water cleaned it out good and used air can on it reassembling right now

    Worst case you replace the entire hotend.

    I personally like the E3D ones, but for about 1/3 the cost you can get a Hex from Robo :) At least then you have an entire spare.

    Season the heck out of that thing and hopefully no more clogs.

    After assembling and running I believe "these violent delights have violent ends" came out good
