I've printed out an enclosure for my new RepRap Controller and am having a tough time finding small screws/nuts/bolts to finish it with.

I've been to 3 local hardware stores (Home Depot, Lowes, Ace) and none have SMALL hardware that can be used for small projects.

I'm curious where others get their hardware from for their projects.
Examples: M3x8, M3x12, M3x20, M3x6 screws as well and associated washer and nuts.

Ace has the small stuff ... well hidden, but they carry it. All the way down to M3.

Online sources might be better since you can specify what you want.
I got some assortments of (various length) M2, M3 and M4 which work for 99% of our projects.

The Chinese places (a la BangGood) had some REALLY tiny assortments that were great for micro-screws :) If you are looking for smaller than M3 you might wan to look at those.

Stuff I needed a jewelers screwdriver to use...

I like pawing through the bins and wandering up and down the isles for something new.
Online is cool but I love the hardware stores.

Could be the ACE I went to was not stocked well. There are others now that I now it's possible to find them in an ACE I'll start hitting them all in my area.

    Thanks.

You can always hit up a Fastenal, if they dont have they can order in for you, or mcmaster-carr (online) and order what you want

My local ACE has drawers full of stuff all the way in the back corner of the store, but if I am looking for some obscure piece I go the the old independent hardware store that has been in town for over 100 years, they have at least one of everything.

I buy bulk from McMaster-Carr or from China if I can wait for the parts. Small quantities (less than a handful) I usually order from trimcraftaviation.com (this guy ships fast and has a pretty good assortment in small quantities).

Do you have any Micro Center stores near you? They have a lot of small electronic parts.
