E3D v6 drives

    I just recently got a Robo 3D R1+ printer and was going to upgrade it before using it. I was going to get the e3d v6 hot end kit for it and it's asking about what drives; direct drive, direct drive w/ robo3d spacer plate, pre-assembled direct, and Bowden. I've searched all over trying to get info but can't find it. What are the differences between the drives and how to choose when ordering the hot end kit?

    The robo r1 and r1+ use a direct drive extruder. But if you got the e3d with the bowden fittings the only thing you get is extra parts ☺

    The spacer plate is needed for the R1+

    Ok, so here's the link to what I'm going to get:

    So I'm good with just selecting the direct drive since all i have is the printer as it is in the box?
