    If you like cleaning up junk from 3D CAD files and redoing them to work (while not actually starting from scratch to build a decent solid model) then GO FOR IT :)

    For what it's worth, I put a multimeter on both the copper- and carbon fiber—infused parts and there's no conductivity at all. So it will definitely need mid-finishing before it goes into the electroplating stage.

    Not surprising. Unless you specifically buy conductive filament, it is not conductive. Even conductive filament is not really conductive enough for electroplating (in my book) it will work, but a graphite slurry painted on works better.

    Just tried that on my first copper part and same of course. Would have thought that "30%" would cause those little bits to at least touch each other a bit, but no.

    Installed the hardened nozzle and now printing some wood. Fun. Smells good too.

    Almost all Autodesk 123D users have moved on to Autodesk Fusion 360...
