Can somebody please help. I updated to Arduino software that is posted on here and now my prints are coming out horrible. I have a Robo 3D r1 plus and have had very little issues with it. I have tried for two days researching and troubleshooting trying everything I could find and cannot find anything to fix this.

A few things need clarifying. The Arduino Software is what you use to flash the Firmware to the printer. Now which version, or where did you get said Firmware? I'm assuming you are saying the Red Print is the bad one? If so, I would say you probably have the wrong z steps for your printer.

Yep, this is why you never update the firmware unless you know it will solve a problem.
Updating the wrong firmware will absolutely cause several problems you didn't have :)

This is where I found the software. I figured it was safe since it was a Robo site. guide.robo3d.com/Wiki/ROBO_3D_Firmware_Release_Notes. Cannot post a link as it says I am too new. And yes I believe I have the wrong Z steps just not sure how to update them in Arduino. I use Matter Control and I tried everything I read and some things I just tried. I love this printer and sorry I tried to update it.

That is the correct site, but which one did you download ... be specific.
Post the exact link you used

Only one of those is for the R1+...
You are sure you have an R1+?

Yes I cannot post the link as it won't post. However I have version ROBO3DR1V3. I used the Hex file for Matter Control as I could not get the other to load as it said it had errors even with using the older Arduino and yes I have a RObo 3D r1 plus that is actually a year old today.

That is not the R1+ version of the firmware so if you actually have an R1+ you need to reload the correct one. What you installed was for the much older R1 (and it has totally different Z steps) Which is why it has a note under it: If you have the R1+ Plus, do not use this firmware.

What you want the is the one labeled:
    R1+ Firmware V2

Tried that it will not compile. Get errors even with the recommend Arguino
request for member 'position' in '* pos', which is of non-class type 'fpos_t {aka long long int}'
