Not printing correct dimensions

    Hi All,
    I hope I hope someone can help.....my Robo R2 recently started printing short of the dimensions specified in the project. I am printing in mm and everything worked fine until recently. I use digital calipers to measure my projects. I have tried reinstalling the software to no avail.

    How about some detail? Is it half the size or 2% off?

    Yes Sir,
    The hole size for a small motor mount is 22mm diameter....my printer prints it at about 20.98mm.

    Filament swells post extrusion (well PLA and ABS do, some others shrink). You need to account for this in the model or drill them out to size. We normally do the latter.

    Yes, but ironically this started happening during the same batch-run with the same material I have been using without any problems. I was running wheel hubs that required inserts for bearings. That's when I started having the issues. The material is PLA. I had run about 8 runs of gears to fit an r/c tractor, came out perfect, no dimension issues.

    Same batch of filament?
    Not sure what would change mechanically that would evenly affect all axis.

    Check to make sure all your set screws are tight on the rods. Just a sanity check, they like to come loose and if so they can ever so slightly bother the print.
