I am excited about the new R1+ . Prints great from the USB, but not so happy that I am yet to figure out how to print from the SD card since the print stops if I disconnect my PC when printing via the USB.
I have been at this for a while, having spent quite a bit of time on forums and putzing around with the SD card in various ways. It finds the name in the directory but cannot find the file on disk!
Here is what I get , that seems to be unique to my situation. I am sure it is simple but frustrating till I find out a way forward. Help? Capture.PNG

Well, I printed it anyway and it did print! I guess, it works. I was able to pull the USB cable and the printer continued to print... which was what I wanted to accomplish. The MC interface could be improved a lot.

You can make it a little easier once you switch to 8.3 filenames :)
long ones are not really handy on the SD card,.

Hi Mark, I did try something as simple as "auto0.g" ; but then the file does not show up when I try to load from the SD card. I had to change the extension to .gcode for it to be available.

    *.GC should work as well.

I was told to use a small capacity memory chip. I was trying a 256mb chip and it didn't work either.
I have yet to try it though since I don't have smaller chips.
I'd me interested if it works for you.

The SD card reader will only read cards formatted FAT and FAT32 so if your capacity requires formatting in anything other than those two formats, the Robo and by extension any LCD controller will not be able to read it.
