I am posting this for those who might find it useful. I was having problems with the extruder getting clogged when I would start a print (no extrusion and repeated clicking sound). However when manually setting it to extrude the extruder would extrude just fine (like during load filament wizard). I tried realigning the driver gear and tightening several times, raising temperature, I was losing my mind. Recently I have been printing a star wars death star that requires printing 62 separate 1mm disks, and I had gotten a little lazy about keeping the bed clean.

I then wondered if the filament stuck to the bed was throwing off the auto-leveling and somehow causing the problem. I changed my buildtak sheet and problem solved! It is now printing just fine.

Moral of the story: Keep your bed clean!

And the tip of the nozzle. That is why I have this line in my startup GCode.

    G1 Z5 F5000 ; lift nozzle

To let me have a chance to yank any stringers :)
