Might need to clean the nozzle/season it a bit. Generally you don't need to season for ABS but it can help.

Also try a bit hotter, like 236.

Verify your hobbed bolt is relatively clean.

I cleaned the hobbed bolt and it was full of plastic. How do I season it?

cleaned the hobbed bolt but it continues to slip I think the springs are wearing out so I think ill add a washer or too and see if that helps. I also seasoned the extruder. I'm going to print with just seasoning and see what happens. If I'm not satisfied i'll add some washers.

You may need to add three or four washers. One thing no one ever tells you is that feeding 1.75 mm filament is harder than feeding 3.0 mm and requires more pressure against the hobbed bolt. It's too bad nearly every printer uses the same or very similar springs for their extruder.

I think its the spring are wearing out so I'll try that. When i disable the steppers and and manually feed the filament sometimes it starts slipping and feeds inconsistently. A half turn feeds and then a half turn slips in that pattern continuously.

I'll post my new prints later today to show the change in quality.
