    Hey, I am looking to know if anyone has the max amperage used by the robo3d r1 plus. I have a power strip I made with a relay + arduino combo which I can control from my phone, computer, etc. Right now I just have lights on it but I'm wondering if my printer would work on it too. If not, I'll probably just buy a new relay and rather than hooking it up to the entire power supply, replace the physical switch on the back with it. Thanks.

    Oh and if this is a totally stupid question... sorry, I'm not very good with electricity.

    Cool. I have a 12 amp relay on the strip and I don't think a light bulb takes much wattage... Thanks.

    The formula for calculating AMPS is

    A = W ÷ V

    Yep. For max that is a safe assumption.
    Not sure what it really draws normally though.

    Ideally you would want to handle max anyway.

    You could always check the fuse located in the Robo's power switch and figure out the amps that way, as that's the limiting factor for how many amps the Robo can pull before blowing said fuse.
