It does look like you're too low. Also, are you just printing on bare glass? You should also really be putting something on the bed to help with adhesion. Glue stick, hair spray, etc. It is absolutely possible to get clean prints on bare heated glass, but you have to get your z-height absolutely nailed and that bed has to be perfectly clean. Things will be much more forgiving if you use something to promote adhesion.

    +100

I swapped to this method after over a year of blue tape, it was not simple. Easier to do with the tape.

Yes I have been using glue stick, I tried hairspray but it seemed too messy.

I have played and played and played with the height and I just used a business card to set the height and that seems to have done the trick. I think I have been just pressing down too much on the paper.

Here is a pic of my first layer. I wasn't planning on it but I think I might let it run just to see how it turns out.

Thanks so much everyone I think I am ready to move onto my next issue. :)

Good work. Getting that first layer is 99% of everything. We need @tesseract back reposting that first layer explanation a hundred times a day :)
But now you all know. Go forth and spread the word.

Here is a few pics of the print. printed at 0.3 layer height starting to wish I went for o.1.

    Oh well next time.

These colours are hard to photograph but they look great in person.

I ended up setting my Z off axis setting to .60 to get it corrected, but I used paper, I will have to try a business card. I have been doing most of my prints with 210c but on first rows it set to 220. I printed the same ones you did at .2 and .15 they look great, I am using hairspray seems to hold great, sometimes to well, I think room temp has alot to do the right heat combo's also, the room I print in is always 66F.
