I suppose you could, but I would worry about getting debris into the hotend.
    That would cause you issues.

Besides, you probably want to learn how to do this. Eventually you are going to need to do maintenance on it.

Yes, that should be all you need to do. Two screws, remove the hotend and then drill the hole.

@mark tomlinson Is it okay if the ptfe gets squished a little bit by the bearing or do I need to cut it more?

I'm actually in the process of doing this myself. You've probably discovered by now that it's really easy to take all apart.
If you're a bit squished, you're probably going to have trouble pushing the ninja flex in.

When I cut PTFE tube, I put a piece of filament in and then either cut around with a razor blade or cut with a pair of cat nail clippers if handy.

    Looks like a definite improvement.

By the way, it looks like you might be running a bit on the hot side. Ninjaflex does this weird flow thing when it is hot where it looks like underextrusion, which tends to get people to want to turn the temp up. It will ooze out in spurts rather than continuous flow. I bet if you try dropping the temp a bit with the new mod, you will get awesome results!
