Unanswered APL dried on drip tip

    My print got completely stuck to hot tip while printing and its dried now what do I do?? Have to robo 3D R1

    Pictures please.

    If it is not bad you can raise the extruder, heat it up and (carefully) clean it off.
    If you have a *lot* of filament stuck on there then you may need to dismount the hotend and clean it up on the bed.

    Yup just heat it up and pull it off. No big deal.

    The thing it's attached to moves though is it durable? How long should I hear it for

    Heat it up until you can pull it off. It shouldn't be moving.

    He might mean the black rubber boot.
    Just get the extruder hot (same temp you would be printing at) and gently pull it off.

    And whatever you do, DO NOT use acetone if the rubber boot is involved. It expands the rubber and splits it, I found out the hard way...
