are you having issues with mesh leveling? Or do you just want to do something different?

I have unmounted the Z axis connector from the beginning as it was not reliable. Since that day for each print I adjust the bed level with the screw. On the top of that my bed is not leveled. So with the inductive sensor I intend to automate this procedure. I have very bad result like elephant feet on one side and very often the print fail because of the bed not perfectly horizontal.

have you looked into mesh leveling. would probably solve your problem without making any mechanical modifications

I shimmed under my magnets to level.out the bed. This would most likely fix your issue and be able to use stock leveling again
