Back plate filament

    Not sure if I am posting this in the right section, and not sure what the name of the part is. Will describe it as best as possible.

    When you feed the filament there is the piece on the back that is held in with hooks on a bar on the bottom, and two screws with springs on the top. It also has a smooth wheel in it.

    I need to know the name of this part, and how to get a new one. The piece is broken on one side, and both bottom hooks that connect it to a metal pin are broken.

    Thanks, need to replace it. Can't print it because the printer is not working without it. But, will be printing one with other spare parts when/if I get a replacement.

    Good epoxy would probably get that to stay together enough to print a replacement. It is not under a huge amount of tension/stress load.
    It would not need to be pretty :) Just functional.

    I'll give that a try Mark, can't any more than not work, right...lol. Will post on here and let everyone know how it worked.

    Good luck. They will get you a replacement, but this might get you going a lot sooner.
