I replaced the hotend with an E3D V6 after the heater block fell off during the first print. I only include that info to let you know it was working at that point. After I fired back up, it printed for 4 minutes, and started giving me unknown device errors, and stopped. Tried flashing it, which didn't help. restarted my computer, and now it won't even acknowledge the board is there. Not even an unknown device error. I plugged the USB from the Robo into my Rostock, and it worked perfectly. The only things running off my COM3 are my 3D printers, and when I unplug the Rostock, COM3 doesn't even show up with the Robo plugged in. Switched everything to COM1 with the same results. Thought it may be a wiring issue, so I unplugged everything from the board, with no change. Any ideas, besides the board being bad?

Same result, no communication. The green and orange lights are lit steady.

If they're lit then they're communicating at least partially. I don't know what you mean by no communication, are you looking in device manager or mattercontrol

Device manager. I plug the Robo board in, and nothing shows up at all. I can unplug the cable from that board, plug it into my Rostock, and everything works as normal. That pretty much eliminates the cable and a port problem.

Well that's the first time I've heard of it not showing up at all. Only other faulty arduino showed up as unknown device.

    Do a replacement part request

It actually did that first, then I restarted my computer, and it never came back. It's little electronic spirit must have passed on during the resart. lol

I ordered a board. I put the request in as well, but I was told 2 weeks ago they were sending me a hot end, and it hasn't showed up yet, and I have to get this thing going. Looks like I'll have a spare. Eventually.

They don't have the hot ends in stock is why. They do have spare arduino's though. Jerry's out today but it shouldn't be more than early next week for them to ship you one out. Though they sure don't beat amazon prime.

Prime is hard to beat. I'll let you know how it works out in case any one else has the same problem.
