Unresolved Bad Top Surface / Simplify3D / Calibration Cube

    So im printing the calibration CUBE. I will start with PLA

    Z Offset 0.8
    Extrusion Multiplier 1
    Default printing speed 3600,0 mm/min
    Temperature 210

    Order of photos are TOP/BOTTOM/SIDE

    Have you opened a support request through Simplify? Their product they are best qualified to answer.
    However, looks like not enough top/bottom layers.

    they cannot give me a solution

    The bottom layer is now soft with an "0.7" Z OFFSET.
    The top layer still awfull

    Do some one want to check my FFF?

    How many top and bottom layers do you have right now? Not the offset

    Did you realize that lines are not straigh ?

    I do see that. Change the layers to 5 then report back. If we need to do more troubleshooting we will at that point.

    1. O.6 z ofsset
    2. 0.7 z offset
    3. O.8 z offset

    SO NOW i switched my z offset to 0.5 and the bottom layer is the best one ive ever see.
    The top layer stills wavy and with little gaps

    Oh yeah. Have the offset to high will leave gaps in lines. You want each pass to smash down Then the next line smash down and touch the previous line

    Yup, but it only fixed bottom layer. Top layer is still wavy and with gaps at a 0.5 z offset

    Look at this,

    0.5 Z OFFSET
    i switched SOLIDD INFILL SPEED from 80% to 70%

    Perfect bottom
    Still dont like top

    Z offset only affects the bottom layer. No other layers care about Z offset, I don't know S3D but can you change the % of overlap?

    I have Override settings and under that I have EXTRUSION setted up at 100%

    I found the Outline Overlap. Its 15%

    I will change hotend.. my prints are getting bad
