Finally today I opened up my Robo. Checked all the screws & belts. Now I got the bed grinding when doing the Auto Leveling when it is going to the last 3 position on the top most part of the bed (back side of the printer)

I wonder what have I done wrong? I only tighten the belt underneath the bed, reseat the bed & that is about it.

Lift the bed and move the rails full-stop end to end on the Y axis.
Watch the Y belt as it travels along the pulleys in the center.

Does it stay centered or does it move up/down as the rails travel?

Make sure that the Y endstop switch is triggered as well when it goes home.

The Y axis might not be long enough if you took the belt out and repositioned it.

I had this exact issue and it was the ribbon cable stopping the bed. Take it out of the clip on the bed and try it. If it grinds, not it but I bet it works just fine.

Glad it was simple. I beat my head against a wall for a week when it happened to me.

I had the same problem with my new R1+, but one of my wires ripped out from the bed.

Does anyone know if its safe to try and re-attach the wire to the bed's heating element.

Sure, but it is difficult to do. You are unlikely to be able do it with a soldering iron because the copper traces are huge.
Maybe with a solder gun. You can replace the heater pad.

Thanks for the info. I had a feeling that it would be tough to solder. I guess that I'll just have to wait for support to let me know if they are going to replace the heating pad.
