I am fairly new to using a 3D printer. My school had one but I never actually got to touch the printer, i just made stuff to be printed. For some reason at the beginning of my prints, one side or corner of the project does not print out filament. Almost as if it isnt even extruding filament in the specific area. I have attached a picture because my explanation is not great. Any tips or advice would be appreciated! thanks! have a good day!

My guess is that the nozzle is too close to the bed on the side where it is not printing.

    Auto-leveling you say...well, about that :)
The auto-leveling does a pretty good job of accounting foe inconsistency in the bed... BUT... it presumes the X axis is fairly close before it starts. To solve this, do the paper leveling routine:

Simplify3D has a wizard for this:

I'd suggest doing this with the printer powered off (although you can do it with it on).
All you need is a sheet of paper, your hands (on the threaded Z rods) and some patience.

To adjust one side turn that threaded rod (the closest one) while you hold the other one from turning.
