You need to change the value next to Layer 1 and not the one for adding a setpoint

Also, in the screen where you manually jog the machine and home things, the z home button does not work, but home all will home all 3 axis... any clue on that?

You need to home X and Y before Z. Not sure if that's also affecting the movement.

Initial print of calibration cube looks good. Gotta learn this interface. After changing temps and then exiting the software though, they seem to reset after reloading the software... not sure if I am missing an option to save the profile?

I then import the model and it works... but if I exit the software then open it again the layer temps get set back to the defaults of 60 and 195... I use 50 and 210 for pla

Yea, I click the pla option and it defaults to 195 and 60... then I edit it and it works but doesnt save the temps after closing. Do I need to create some kind of custom profile?

gotta admit... this software is amazing! Every Issue I have had seems to be handled by it. I am glad I struggled through all the freeware though, since it made me learn a lot... now just gotta learn the details of what simplify3d can do! 6 prints, all flawless so far!

Yea, it is far better, but it is hard show that since they don't have a trial or demo version.
I almost never use any of the others any longer, only if I am doing a test of some sort.
If I really need it to work (or it is a long print) I just use Simplify.

I cant rave about this software enough. I love opensource, but this is like the hidden gem in the world of 3d printing.... I am still glad I struggled through all of the troubles of learning the opensource stuff...
