Running e3dv6, volcano, SS 0.60 nozzle.

195C, 15mm/s first layer, 0.20 high layer, blue tape with glue stick.

Just finished printing Stainless steel protopasta and am moving on to colorfab bronze fill. However the bronze fill doesn't not want to stick as well, curls up on the edges when it changes directions on first layer.

Print was successful but not good enough to start a 10hr print.

Also I measured the vase vertical wall width at .71 and used .65 in simplify3d but it is still printing with gaps.

I was going to offer you my process file (FFF) but i realized I don't have one specific to bronzefill. I just used a PLA one.

Only suggestion I would have at the moment is try increasing the layer height.
That is a bit lower than I normally run (percentage wise).
Maybe a 0.3 will work better?

It does look as though it could be a little high (very little) on the Z offset, BUT I have never changed that for different filaments.

ive been playing with the z offset a lot and just tuned it for the SS. I'll tweak it and see if there is a different value for bronze.

What can I change to improve the horizontal gaps or is that fixed by a greater layer height?

I wouldn't expect this, but some filament types do behave differently. I don't remember SS being different than Bronzefill.

It is fixed by the extrusion width and layer height (since the first layers get 'mashed' a bit).

Adjusted z height from .63 to .60 and extrusion width from .65 to .60.

    Seems to be doing fine.
