What would you recommend to getting the PLA/PLH to stick to the plate.

Currently using blue tape with the purple Elmer's glue stick, and it just pops right of with 0 force. So it make using support material a bear.

Is my only option to use a raft?

Wipe the tape with alcohol or acetone first.

    Or use hairspray.

Or go to a higher bed temp.

If you have an R1 you might experiment with lowering the Z offset just a small amount. That might help to get it to stick a bit better.

I'll try it. To clarify, the blue tape and glue stick method work insanely well for PLA. However the addition of PLH is affecting its ability to adhere. I do have an R1, I'll try it out.

So loving the volcano. I think the fact that I am able to print materials 30C cooler than before is having a significantly positive impact on the strength and smoothness of the prints!

It certainly has had no negative side effects that I can comment on. I love that kit.

The PLA/PHA is actually a tad stickier than regular PLA, so you should find it as easy or easier to stick as other PLA yo have used.
Try the standard routine of tricks and always make sure you've got a good first layer. printedsolid.com/firstlayer
