I'm not sure if this is the right place to post since my robo is way beyond stock.

It has e3dV6, and Mike Kelly's X carrage modified to fit the self aligining bushings that waldo posted ( same deal on Y axis )

My problem has been that NoviceExpert(youtube)'s cooling fan ducts ( even before the changes ). press against the heater block when installed on the back and melt..if i put the duct in front it is ok doesn't melt but in both cases it sits up to high ,and I get Temp Fall error's regardless.

I just printed Gladius?'s fan duct because its adjustable, but within 30 seconds my temp dropped from 225 to 205 and threw a temp fall error. Here is a picture of gladius's fan duct.
I know I have a bunch of mods, so..im guessing i'm going to have to make my own fan duct?
Or is there any others out there that will work with my mods

It may be a weak heater core as well.
If you do go to replace it get a 40w unit.

I think this may be the problem.. suddenly with no fan I can't really get past 230 AKA..around then it takes forrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeever to heat up. I used to be able to go to 270? or whatever the firmware stops it at.

I have the e3dV6 with whatever heatercore came with that.

Got any recomendations for a new heater core?

Noticed with my new R1+ it temp fall errors all the time with PETG ( 235 temp ) If I use the cooling fan. PLA is fine.

I guess the stock heater, and E3D heater just cant keep up with 235deg and the fan on? ( PLA works fine with the cooling fan but i print that at about 200 )

I have the 40watt heaters now so I can try those.

Yea i finally got the titan running on my original robo R1.. and normally i have time to pick ooze off the nozzle while its heating. with that 40watt heater it heats up real fast!

Since I got 5 of them for 9 bucks I think one is gonna go on the new "stock" R1+ I can't help myself they cannot stay stock long
