there is holder I built for the dial indicator it snaps on to the ROBO x axis rods so you can check the bed levelness up and down the entire y axis. adjusting the position on the x axis rods will allow for checking anywhere on the build surface.

I tried uploading the stl file but the system is having a slight issue with it so I will do so at a later time

it has absolutely no markings but I got it from the list that Matt supplied on the forum a while back. I am sure ebay has them as well Matt suggested to get the gauge and not the digital. There pretty cheap under $7 if I remember right

Nice Jeff. Have you tried it out?
You need something to anchor it to the rods. You don't want it the holder moving qty all. Magnets are good.
You probably want the indicator in a little bit thicker section with tight fit or set screw to hold it really stable.

Actaully I made it so that it snaps onto the bars by making the opens just over half circles same for the dial the hole in the bottom fits the piece where the measuring piece comes out of and again the large circle where the gauge itself sits is just over half so it sort of snaps in place seems pretty solid.

Just for grins I checked one side of my board the home side on the x axis. At the front 0.000(home), middle was .004 and back was .013 so I have a little slope

That sound like bow not slope. You're using a glass plate right?

Ok. No worries then. Clips are a decent solution.

How are you leveling the bed? RoBo didn't come with bed leveling capability.

I have not had any Y axis leveling issues. I've leveled my X axis, and not it is perfect. Haven't had any issues.

my tolerance along the y axis were negligible also but at least I know what they are and that does help
