Unanswered Does anyone know the length of the throat in the hot end

    Where the throat exits the hexagon the throat is slightly bent. So far I can't tell if its causing any problems but I have been getting more clogs just above the nozzle lately.

    I wanted to see if anyone knew the dimensions so I could order a new throat.

    The hexagon uses a different kind of heat break than other extruders, it is not fully threaded and you can't buy parts.

    crapola. So I have to get a whole new rig if I want this fixed?

    Since your Hexagon is broken, you could put in a parts request for warranty replacement. If they won't replace it and you need to buy one, that would be the perfect time to upgrade to a E3Dv6.

    Im thinking if i go that route i want to do a chimera with a bowden because i really want to start printing infill with white and saving my colors for perimeters and solid layers

    i dont think so.

    and the fact that they are with what seems like a ptfe tube inside won't allow you to go beyond 240c max

    Yes if for no other reason then because the parts are all replaceable and available all over.
