Installed the new E3D v6 hotend. It's a very nice. I like it very much.

I have created a front fan mount for this hotend. You just slide the fan duct from the right side of the front X-carriage. It will snap into place, no screws needed except for the fan. So far it's working pretty good.

I have attached the STL file for those who are interested. E3Dv6 Fan Mount Side View.jpg E3dv6 Front Fan Mount.jpg

Have you put this on Thingiverse?

Will this snap in place in the normal fan position? I just added a second parts fan and having two of these would be awesome :)

@Invertmast, Do you mean mounting at the back? The x-carriage belt prevents it from mounting at the back.

Have a look at my duct design on thingiverse. It fits front or back for the E3D v5. You might be able to borrow some ideas for modifying your design to fit front or back.

@Galaxius, your design looks very nice and a lot better than mine.

I checked the distance for the back mount and it's different length to the nozzle, not symmetrical. Also the heating block is further to the back and it would not be a simple modification of my design to bring the duct closer to the nozzle. That requires some thinking, but I'm currently busy with other stuffs right now. May revisit this in the future.

That duct design is what I converted too. It kicks ass.
