Has anybody tried Epicurean as the printing plate? This is a woodfiber material often used on cutting surfaces for the kitchen. They are nicely plain, heat resistant up to 176C (350F), water resistant, and can be milled like mdf.(see: http://www.epicureancs.com)

Might be good for Nylon as that stuff likes to grab onto something and the wood texture would be ideal

Yea, bridge works fine with the usual suspects (blue tape for example).

I have some experiance with this material now.

On the beginnig, PLA didn't stick so well, but since I cleaned the plate a few times unter water with a scotch brite and adjusted my first layer hight, it works very well.
I just used PLA until now, and heated the bed to around 55°C. This way, the PLA sticks very good but can also be easily detached when finished.
