    Hi all,

On my second day of the 3D printing World and not liking it.

I assigned a material print profile on my Robo R2, yet it decides to change the extruder temperature from the specified 220deg. C, to 250deg. C. I happened to spot this, so returned it back to 220deg. C, however, 5-10 minutes later it then altered it to 240deg. C. I returned it back to 220deg. C, where it remained for the duration of the print.

Any thoughts why this is happening?

How are you doing the printing?
Are you using OctoPrint or something else?
    How did you slice it?

Sounds like slicer settings are not exactly what you intended. Every slicer is different software and can behave a little different. Which one are you using?

OK, someone familiar with that can detail how to check it for the correct settings.

I havent used the Robo Cura but my best guess would be the profile your using would be ABS of the like. I'd double check what material you have selected. There is advanced options instead of quick print (if thats what your seeing). When my R2 is back online I can try to help more. Maybe @WheresWaldo has some experience with the Robo theme Cura?

    Geof,

The material and its spec is for ColorFabb CPE, Co-Polyester and the 2 models which have been successful, not my models, have printed great. However, when l attempt to print mine they fail at 70-75% completion.

Tomorrow l shall look and see the outcome of running my stl files through the suggested repair tools and see if this resolves the issue.

Ah, nGen -- good stuff actually :)

It is a form of ColorFab XT

It needs to be printed at closer to ABS temperatures: 235-240c extrusion temp and 80c bed.
