    ROBO 3D R1 (auto-level)

Something new that I have noticed is when I turn on my printer, the extruder fan barely starts to turn. It literally takes about 1 minute for the fan to get to 100% speed. If I stop the fan with my finger, it takes the same amount of time to speed up again.

Previously, the fan would shoot right up to 100% once turned on or if manually stopped with my finger. FYI my extruder fan has always been very noisy as well.

Do you know what would cause this? Is this a power supply issue?

    Thanks,
    LC

    Probably the fan going bad.
Do not print without it running. You will not be happy with the results.

Either do a replacement parts request through the Robo site or get a 25 mm fan to replace it with.

It might be possible to keep it running a bit longer with some machine oil. But definitely do a replacement request if you still have warranty or pick up a 25mm fan just in case it dies.
