Hi ben. I use both with no issue. The first set i printed did have an issue where the curve that fits around the carriage wasnt clean and the duct tilted so i had to reprint with tweaked settings. Do yours appear to be blowing on the part or at they more tilted towards the nozzle ?

when i leave the front fan on the temp is fine but the back fan is the issue, it looks like it is blowing at the nozzle but i will try and angle it a little down now

i don't know why but it was way to talk and hit the build platform way faster then the nozzle

Which fan ducts did you end up using?

That is very suprising. Mine are a tight fit (very close but the nozzle hits the bed a few mm before the fan ducts). I'm very sorry to hear they did not work for you.

i taped the side of the fan duct that the thermistor is on so less air hits the thermistor

that's very odd the one I suggested is a remix of the one your using lol. Does the issue happen with the tape in place ?

hate to bother you again but i have been having another issue where the printer extrudes to much or something happens and the print has to much plastic and the printer sometimes hits the extra and gets set off the original line. the temp looks fine and it does not seem to be over heating do you know what could be causing this

Without pictures it's hard to be sure. Is the print lifting and that's what's smacking the nozzle? Or it's a big glob on the nozzle?

Edit: your not a bother at all, I'm happy to try to answer any questions to help get you running

just angles the fan duct down some more and the temp issue went away but the tape really helped in the beginning

Glad to hear the temp problems gone. I do suggest a 40w heater if you don't already have one. Those things are champs

They aren't great pictures but that's ok because I think I get the gist. First thing is let's check the belt tensions and set screws on the pulleys on the motors.

If those are good well keep going.
