Use a larger heater core. You are getting too much air on the nozzle/heater block and the heater can't keep up.
Hexagon has a 30w core, E3D v6 a 25w core, you can get a 40w core from amazon (or your favorite retailer) for a few bucks.

i will probably oder one soon but for right now i am trying to figure out the other issue i am having with the extruder extruding to much, it is still happening even though i tighten the extruder, i just switched filaments because the reel i was using was an old one and that could have been the issue

I assume you already calibrated the extruder?

    Odd, but not unheard of.

For what it is worth, I had a similar problem when I installed the e3d. I added the duct for the fan, but it didn't fix it. I finally fixed it with a higher power heater. I am not sure what it was now, but I did post it here so a search might find it. Now I am using the Volcano hot end because it heats so much better.
