Solved Extruder motor stops randomly

    I am currently cleaning my extruder and checking the temp sensor. I was trying to print at 195

    That might be the issue then. Try a bit hotter (197, 198) and see if it goes away.
    If so you might want to adjust the MIN TEMP setting in the CONFIGURATION.H for the version you are using.

    There was one firmware version Robo did that had the MIN TEMP rather hot in my opinion. You might be on that version.

    Well that was the problem. I turned the temp up to 200 and it did the calibration box flawlessly. I would like to print at a lower temp though, and I can't seem to find the configuration your talking about. There's EEprom settings, but there is nothing about min temp in there.

    No, it is in the firmware. Look in CONFIGURATION.H:


    #define EXTRUDE_MINTEMP 170

    (although yours may well be higher than 170)

    Download the firmware and open the ZIP file (extract it somewhere) and you will see that file.

    If the fan is not running fully it won't provide enough cooling capacity. Submit a replacement part request for one.
